The Electronic Showing System by Vault Locks integrates a state of the art electronic lockbox with an automated showing system. The Electronic Showing System offers a free mobile app, which allows the real estate agent to manage their properties on the go and operate the lockbox through a Bluetooth Low Energy connection. Your mobile device is your key and it’s free for everyone.
The ShowingVault web application manages your properties and lockboxes. It can fully integrate with existing showing services to provide a seamless link to lockbox access codes. If you do not use a showing service, the ShowingVault web application includes a full featured, web-based showing service, which is included in the price of the system. The listing agent uploads the details of the property and sets-up parameters for the showing of the property, such as, showing instructions, communication preferences and calendars. The Showing instructions are flexible and can be set for properties without pre-approval, courtesy notifications and approval required. Calendars can be set to allow showings during certain hours and restrict showings during others.
The showing agent requests a showing for a property via their regular showing service and the access code is returned automatically with the showing approval. If the showing agent is using the ShowingVault system, they will navigate to www.showingvault.com and request the showing. In this case, the system automatically communicates to the listing agent, showing and homeowner, if desired, through convenient push notifications using the mobile app, standard text messages and email. Approvals can be made through these communications and once all required approvals are received, the system automatically sends a notification to the requesting showing agent, notifying them of the approval and providing the access code. If using the free mobile app, the approved showing will initiate the Bluetooth connection and transmit the code to the lockbox to open it. Designated parties, such as the listing agent and homeowner also receive confirmation of the showing approval.
The Electronic lockbox operates using encrypted access codes, so the listing agent never needs to worry about showing agents not having a unique key device or card and missing a showing on your property. The access codes are sent directly to the showing agent upon scheduling of the property.
The lockbox has Bluetooth Low Energy capability, which allows the agent to open the lockbox using their mobile device. If a showing does not have the free mobile app, they can enter the access code by using the simple keypad on the lockbox. It is as simple as entering a six digit code and pressing OPEN. The lockbox conveniently records history of showing details and these details are saved on the ShowingVault system. They are available to be reviewed or downloaded as a showing activity report for the homeowner at any time.
The free mobile app has all of the functionality of the web version, plus has the Bluetooth feature where the agent is able to transmit the access code directly to the lockbox. It is available on Apple iTunes and is free for everyone.
The system requires a monthly access charge per user. Each user license allows unlimited use of all the features the Electronic Showing System provides. Average costs for showing systems range from $25-60 per month and electronic lockbox lockboxes and keys range from $10-25 per month.
